When is the restaurant and nightclub open?
Every day: Doors open 2 hours prior to the show time which is listed on the ticket and in the website. The menu will be served at doors. All menu items available until at least Midnight, then select menu may be offered. Sushi will be available at door time. Ask a bartender or server for specifics.
Early shows: doors may open as early as noon for special shows. Check website for details.
How do I make reservations for a show?
Regular shows and special events:
Reservations are easier than ever to make due to our new partnership with Vendini. click the "buy tickets now" button under the show you wish to attend. Please note that reservations are made as the tickets are purchased. If you wish to sit with another party that has already purchased tickets or you require special accommodations you will need to call the box office between 1pm and 5pm prior to show time. All seats are reserved in the order that they are purchased. For specific seating requests, please call the box office between 1pm and 5pm. Feel free to speak with a staff member or leave us a voice mail and we will return your call. We will try to accommodate your request, but requests cannot be guaranteed.
Ha ha tuesday comedy night:
For tuesday night comedy "ha ha tuesdays" reservations can be made by emailing boxoffice@jazzbones.com or by calling 253-396-9169 between 1 and 5pm. Please use the "buy tickets now" button located on the show date to get tickets and automatically reserve your seats for other events.
What type of food is offered?
Main dinner menu: jazzbones offers a bar and grill style menu. Anything from beef sliders, burgers, pizza's, steaks, pasta's to hot wings and jalapeno poppers.
Jazzbones has a nice selection of fresh salads and many different sandwiches and burgers to choose from.
Sushi bistro ~ raw bar: - Jazzbones presents a delightfully creative experience in asian dining. California/northwest/japanese fusion offers everything from seared salmon roll, baked scallop california roll, miso soup and albacore salads to fresh cut sashimi, variety of sake, japanese beers, plum wines, and gyoza.
Sushi available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at door time.
Who can go to Jazzbones?
Age restrictions: Jazzbones welcomes music lovers 21 and older. However, we do offer special shows from time to time that are all ages and are noted as such on our calendar. Under 21 must remain in the restaurant portion of the first floor and not walk through the bar at any time. There are no exceptions to the 11pm under age curfew set in place by the Washington State Liquor Control Board. We cannot and will not make exceptions for anyone for any reason at any time.
Dress code: casual to nice. People do tend to dress up more on the weekend and for special events. Mondays-Thursdays: proper fitting atire, no jerseys, no bandanas, no skull caps, no attitudes. Zero tolerance for drug activity and violence.
Children under 12: Jazzbones does not have booster seats, high chairs or a child menu. Parents should use judgment and take into account that loud, live music can sometimes upset young children.
We do not provide ear plugs. Make sure to protect children's hearing.
How much does it cost to get in?
Cost: ticket and cover charge prices vary depending on the entertainment. Check the calendar for specifics. Keep in mind that occasionally information is listed incorrectly in the newspaper or through outside sources. The price the doorman quotes you is the price you will be charged. Please call the box office (253-396-9169) to get information on ticket prices.
If I can't make it to a show, can I get a refund?
Refunds: refunds will not be given. Purchasing a ticket from Jazzbones is like purchasing a ticket from ticketmaster. No refunds. All ticket sales are final.
What is the difference between general admission and reserved tickets?
General admission: Gains you entrance to the show only. It is up to you to find seating, if available. Some shows are standing room only. If you want a guaranteed seat, purchase a reserved seat ticket and reserve a table.
When can I visit the balcony gallery?
Gallery hours: the gallery is open Monday through Saturday (excluding Wednesday) at 6PM and occasionally for special events on Sundays. Plan on attending the monthly art slam and the artist receptions. If coming during the week to specifically see the art, arrive after 6PM.
Can I buy artwork from the balcony gallery?
Purchasing art: all art is available for purchase unless marked otherwise. Contact Jazzbones' art coordinator, Danno, at danno@jazzbones.com. Purchased art can be taken home at the end of the artist's show.
Can I show my art in the balcony gallery?
Art exhibits: contact Jazzbones' art coordinator, Danno, at danno@jazzbones.com. Jazzbones welcomes art of all mediums and subjects, but is especially interested in those that have a focus on music or are visually music related. The balcony art gallery features artists on a rotating basis with an artist reception at the beginning of the month for new shows.
How do I get my band booked at Jazzbones?
Booking submissions: Email booking@jazzbones.com. The more content you provide the better chance you have at a call back.
